Sudoku Enjoyer Support
Sudoku Enjoyer is a Sudoku game for iPhone and iPad from Pretty Good Programs. This page is how you reach someone about it, and what to try first.
Getting in touch
There is no support queue and no ticket system. Sudoku Enjoyer is written by one person, Sebastian Benad, in his own time, and a message about it reaches him directly.
A reply can take a few days. Anything that loses your progress or stops you playing is looked at first.
Reporting a problem
Four things make a bug report something that can actually be fixed, and without them a reply is usually just a request for them:
- your device, for example iPhone 14 or iPad Air
- your iOS version, which is in Settings, General, About
- the Sudoku Enjoyer version, which is at the bottom of the app’s own settings screen
- what you were doing when it went wrong, and what you expected instead
A screenshot or a screen recording is worth more than all four.
Things you can do without us
Some of the most common requests do not need anyone:
- Delete your account and everything on our servers: Settings, then Account, then “Delete account”. It is immediate and needs no request.
- Stop sharing usage data: Settings, then switch off “Share anonymous usage data”.
- Play with no account and no connection: solo play is entirely local and always has been. Nothing is lost by never signing in.
- Remove everything stored on the device: uninstall the app. Local statistics and anything still queued go with it.
If progress has disappeared, say whether you were signed in at the time. Solo progress lives on the device and is not backed up by us, so the answer is different in each case.
Privacy
What Sudoku Enjoyer does and does not collect is written out in full on its own page, including how to get rid of anything it holds.
Feature requests
They are welcome and they are read. Both apps are side projects rather than products with a roadmap, so the honest answer to most of them is that it will happen if it is a good idea and there is a free evening.
